Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness At Brightview Woodbury Lake

A sea of pink enveloped Brightview Woodbury Lake as residents and associates supported a noteworthy cause. Combining their passion for arts and crafts with their love of helping others, residents led the fundraising efforts with the sale of baked goods to their neighbors, families, friends and guests during a series of fundraising events in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Proceeds benefited a local charity in the greater Woodbury community which assists breast cancer patients, survivors and caregivers with resources and support. Residents also learned about ways to detect and prevent breast cancer during an educational seminar held at the community.
“We know so many people who have been touched by breast cancer,” commented one supporter. “I wanted to support the efforts of my neighbors and show solidarity with this important cause.”
